It was such a treat to get to shoot Anthony’s proposal to Nichol. His grand idea was to pop the question under the rotunda on the lawn overlooking the ocean at Pelican Hill. And to make it all the more special, he arranged to have a pilot fly by with a banner that read “Nichol, will you marry me?”, just in case she couldn’t hear him ask over the gentle ocean breeze. I think I was as excited as they were because let’s be honest: this is the stuff of a movie! The artisans over at Mardo Fine Jewelry in Newport Beach crafted an incredible ring and the guys over at Air Sign made sure the banner was perfectly on time and clearly visible just as Anthony got down on his knee.
